YOUR ROLE

• Support to the Henkel EU Public Affairs team in Brussels and at the Henkel HQ in the analysis of European legislative initiatives and related assessment of impacts for Henkel
• Coordination of internal input for EU public consultations and position building, preparation of position papers to publicize the company's position on European initiatives of relevance to Henkel.
• Communication with European, national, and third-party organizations (consulting firms) as well as specific industries’ associations with Henkel membership.
• Internal stakeholder management.
• Meetings with political stakeholders and positioning of Henkel in the European political arena.

YOUR SKILLS

• Academic degree in Political Science/ EU Affairs / International Management (and any other related fields)
• Excellent knowledge of English and German is required
• Very good writing skills and an ability to translate policies into “real-world” outcomes for Henkel. 
• Available for five to six months starting in September 2024
• Good knowledge of MS office
• You enjoy dealing with several topics and do not hesitate to familiarize yourself with unknown issues.
• You show initiative and can take responsibility
• Team-player who thinks in possibilities and solutions
