Henkel began its business operations in Israel in 1996 by acquiring the “Soad company” from Shemen Industries, a company that had been in business since 1924. The operating business units of Henkel Soad Ltd. – a wholly owned subsidiary of Henkel International – focuses on developing, marketing and selling Laundry and Home Care, Beauty Care and Adhesive Technologies.
