The founding of Henkel Bautechnik Ukraine in 1998 also marked the launch of Henkel’s business activities on the Ukrainian market. In 2000, Henkel CEE also assumed responsibility for the detergents segment, followed by the setting up of Henkel Ukraine one year later. Today four production facilities and one sales office are located in Kiev with responsibility for marketing the strong brands and technologies of the Laundry & Home Care, Cosmetics/Toiletries and Adhesive Technologies business sectors. The most important brands are Bref, Brillance, Ceresit, Clin, Fa, Gliss Kur, Losk, Makroflex, Moment, Palette, Persil, Perwoll, Pur, Rex, Schauma, Silan, Somat, Taft and Thomsit.
