Henkel products have been marketed in Austria for more than 120 years. The Vienna production facility has been operating since 1927. The Cimsec plant for tile adhesives, joint sealers and joint mortar in Ebensee, Upper Austria was acquired in 2006, and a central warehouse for Central and Eastern Europe was opened in Vienna-Meidling. The Vienna-based head- quarters coordinates Henkel’s business in 32 countries in the Central Eastern Europe region. The most important Henkel CEE brands are Cimsec, Dixan, Fewa, Glem Vital, Gliss Kur, Loctite, Pattex, Persil, Schwarzkopf, Taft, Teroson and Weißer Riese.
