Henkel's aim is to be as independent as possible from the credit policies of banks. As of 31.12.2007 the volume of bilateral bank loans was only 404 mill. euros.

Loans from non-banks

Members of the Henkel family as well as members of the Shareholders’ Committee and the Supervisory Board have given loans to Henkel in fiscal year 2007. They thereby show an additional commitment to Henkel. Henkel benefits from further diversifying its credit resources.

The interest is based on normal market terms (Euribor). As of 31.12.2007 the credit volumes amounted as follows:
