In January 2003, the business magazine Capital ran a survey of Germany's most attractive employers. In 29th place, Henkel ranks among the top 50 companies. The assessment criteria included categories such as credibility, respect, fairness, and identification. Henkel was rated second-best among the 30 biggest companies represented in the German Stock Index DAX. This survey forms part of a Europe-wide competition instigated by the EU Commission to identify the 100 best employers.
