Since 2002, Heidelberg-based Henkel Teroson has been cooperating with other companies and the Heidelberg City Environment Department to support medium sized companies through a regional sustainability project. A workshop was organized for the managing directors and environment officers of medium-sized local companies who were informed about the advantages to be gained by establishing sustainable business practices. This was illustrated by practical examples from Henkel Teroson. The aim of the project is to join forces with the City of Heidelberg in developing a corporate culture that lays equal emphasis on economic success, ecologically sound production, and social responsibility.
