Henkel awarded prize in the "Success Factor Family 2005"
In Berlin, on May 24, 2005, Henkel has been awarded a prize as the most family-friendly organization in Germany conducted by the German Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth and the Federal Ministry for Economics and Labor. German Chancellor Gerhard Schröder und Federal Minister for Family Affairs Renate Schmidt honoured the prizewinners in the individual categories.
Prizes were awarded in categories for small, medium and large companies, as well as a prize for innovation and a special prize from the Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior citizens, Women and Youth. Henkel received its prize in the category “large companies” for its exemplary commitment to facilitating its employees´ career/family balance. “Career/family balance is a socio-political topic. The prize shows that we are on the right track with our commitment,” assets Prof. Dr. Ulrich Lehner, Chairman of the Management Board of Henkel KGaA.
