“Most Trusted Brands” is a survey run by Readers Digest. Persil holds 1st place throughout the time period 2001-2008.
2007:
Persil was awarded being among Germany’s Superbrands. Evaluation criteria are predominance of brand, customer loyalty, goodwill, longevity of the brand and transparency of the brand.
2007:
Persil earns the RedDot-Award for Persil-Design.
Some of Persil’s Innovations
1965: Persil 65 – controlled foam, well-cared-for Laundry.
How does it work?
Contains foam inhibitors which controlled the formation of foam as a function of temperature. This was an important prerequisite for machine washing.
1986: Persil Phosphat free
Environmental protection emerged into the public consciousness in the 1980s.
How does it work?
Henkel continually improved the biodegradability of surfactants and found a substitute substance for phosphates, which was patented in 1973, as those substances polluted surface waters.
1994: Persil Megaperls
Pearls instead of powder. 290 mm of classic powder could be replaced by 95 mm of pearls. The patent was filed across Europe for this new laundry detergent.
How does it work?
Better washing performance through improved dissolving capacity and smaller doses due to high concentration of the detergent.
