Kasper Rorsted awarded
HORIZONT Award for Henkel CEO
In selecting Rorsted as Marketing Person of the Year, the jury members praised his entrepreneurial spirit and his ability to make quick decisions and adapt to constantly changing market conditions. The jury was also impressed that the Henkel CEO led the company to its greatest economic success: In the third quarter 2011, Henkel attained for the first time ever sales of more than four billion euros. Concentrating on strong brands clearly has paid out for the company.
Rorsted received the honor on behalf of all the marketing co-workers. "Marketing campaigns are conceived and implemented by our professionals. I am proud that we have a highly-motivated and versatile marketing team, who are very creative," said Rorsted. "Our team works hard to increase and closely maintain the image of our large brands such as Loctite, Persil or Schwarzkopf in addition to successfully inventing and introducing new brands into the market."
Michael Schmidt, CEO of the Scholz & Friends Group was awarded the Agency Person of the Year and Thomas Ebeling, chairman of the board ProSiebenSat.1 received the honor for Media Person of the Year.
