This is how the students participating in the game describe the Henkel Innovation Challenge. It is a perfect chance for students and interns to develop their vision of life in the future and create a new and sustainable Henkel product or technology for the future – not to mention a fantastic prize, valuable contacts and career opportunities.
Henkel has been organizing this yearly international business game since 2007 and thousands of students have already taken part in Europe, Middle East, the Americas and Asia.
To participate, you just need to form a team of 2 students and imagine to be the business managers of Adhesives Technologies, Beauty Care or Laundry & Home Care.
To submit your idea, you will answer a few online questions: what are the market needs and business opportunities in the future? What is your innovative idea to meet these needs? Where do you create more value for customers and consumers through sustainability-related products or technologies? What are the biggest contributions of your innovation along the value chain (from the raw material sourcing to its usage)?
The best teams are invited to the semi-finals in their participating countries to present their concept – after having received valuable and personalized support from Henkel managers, who mentor each selected team during the preparation phase. The couple of students that wins at the semi-final gets the chance to participate in the international final in the global HQ in Germany – with additional mentorship and support from Henkel top-managers.
The final prize is a ticket around the world worth 10.000 €. The 3 winning teams at the international final will also have the unique opportunity to meet the Henkel CEO, Kasper Rorsted.
This is a unique opportunity to create innovative concepts, compete with international students, network with Henkel managers and take your creative and strategic management skills to the next level. Take this challenge!
