Henkel acquisition from Akzo Nobel of Adhesives and Electronic Materials businesses previously owned by National Starch
In April 2008 Henkel acquired the Adhesives and Electronic Materials businesses from Akzo Nobel. With this acquisition, Henkel substantially strengthened its leading position in the global adhesives markets, particularly in the industrial segment.
