September 1, 2011: Start of the V. Henkel Innovation Challenge

The Henkel Innovation Challenge starts for the fifth time in September 2011.

April 6-9, 2011: International Final in Berlin

The polish team wins the fourth henkel Innovation Challenge.

The polish team won the international final of the Henkel Innovation Challenge. France came second, followed by Turkey on rank three.

Regional Final Asia-Pacific

The team representing the region Asia-Pacific at the international final comes from China. All winning teams of the participating four countries in the region competed in March in Shanghai against each other with their innovative ideas for a Henkel product in 2050. In the end, China’s team “Winkel” with their idea for “Fa Magic” won.

March 17, 2011: National Final in France

France will be represented at the international final by Louis-Alban and Yuanhang Shen. Their idea for Bref in 2050 convinced the French jury, so they will present their concept in Berlin mid of April.

March 17, 2011: National Final in Slovakia

On March 17, the first national final in Slovakia took place. Michal and Dominik convinced the jury with their idea of Palette in the year 2050. The two students are now representing Slowakia at the international final.

March 16, 2011: National Final in Italy

The "Rainbow Girls" could convince the jury with their idea "Vernel - Colouring Gems" at the italian final on March 16 Francesca Gatti, Alessandra Giffuni and Letizia Paltrinieri will represent Italy at the International Final.

March 10, 2011: National Final in Austria

At the international final, Austria will be represented by “Creavision”, a team from Wiener Neustadt University. The two students impressed the jury with their idea of a future Fa brand, which cleans, freshens or relaxes without the use of water.

March 10, 2011: National Final in Spain

On March 10, Nil, Antonio and Ines won the national final in Spain and will now represent their country at the international final in Berlin!

March 8, 2011: National Final in Croatia

At the national final in Croatia, team xPro was selected as winner. Tin Banozic, Nera Popovic and Marija Knezic presented their idea of a Diadermine product called xPatch which would be essential for preserving and improving health & beauty in 2050 as it will protect the human organism from harmful radiation.

March 7, 2011: National Final in Poland

The Team „Persilans“ convinced the members of the jury at the national final in Poland on March 7: Anna and Anna will now represent their country at the international final in Berlin.

March 1, 2011: National Final in Romania

For the first time, students from Romania could take part in the Henkel Innovation Challenge as well. On March 1, the ten best teams competed against each other in the national final. The team “Trobleshooters“ from Bucharest University came out first with their idea of a Schwarzkopf Mystique line of maintenance products.

February 28, 2011: National Final in Germany

The national final in Germany took place in Düsseldorf on February 28. A team from University Osnabrück won with their idea of Aok Individualizer, a machine which scans your face in the mirror and creates an individual face cream.

February 28, 2011: National Final in Hungary

Zsófia, Dóra and Csenge won the Hungarian final on February 28 and are now representing their country in Berlin.

February 25, 2011: National Final in Turkey

Team Benkel won the national final in Turkey. Their idea: Diadermine Protechno, a cream that decreases the effects of the radiation to minimum and protects the human being from sicknesses.

February 21, 2011: National Final in Belgium

On February 21 the belgian final took place in Eindhoven (Netherlands). A team from Ghent University won with their idea of Diadermine Linivé. This product is being absorbed from the skin and protects for example against bacteria, UV light, cleans the skin and makes it look young and healthy.

At the dutch final in Eindhoven on February 21 a team from the Rotterdam School of Management Erasmus Universiteit won. Their idea of Triple I: “Silan'iCombine - Wash & Dry convinced the jury. The product is a combination of an aromatizing fabric conditioner and a technology that dries clothes right after washing.

February 4, 2011: National Final in Russia

On February 4, the national final of Russia was held in Moscow. The Jury comprised of senior Henkel managers chose the winner of the six finalist teams from Moscow, St. Petersburg and Perm. 350 participants from over 25 cities took part in the national stage of HIC. The A-era team from Moscow with its innovative idea for Terra brand: Terra Oxygen would be commonly used in 2050 for purifying and aromatization of indoor air.

February 4, 2011: National Final in India

The national final of India took place on February 4 in Chennai. Team “Detachables” took the first place.

January 14, 2011: National Final in China

On 14 January 2011, China invited their six top teams to the national final. Team “Winkel” won the tough competition with their idea for "Fa Magic", a new Fa product that makes you feel great instantly, boosts your mood and confidence and contributes to a more relaxed life: "Choose Fa Magic, choose perfect days".

January 7, 2011: National Final in Malaysia

For the first time students from Malaysia and the region Asia/Pacific could participate in the Henkel Innovation Challenge. In March all national winner teams will be compete against each other in the regional final in Shanghai. The regional winners will then take part at the international final in April.

December 6, 2010: National Final in Australia

In the region Asia/Pacific also students from Australia could participate in the global students competition. The Australian team will meet their opponents in Shanghai: There, the national winner teams from Malaysia, China and Australia will compete against each other in March.

September 2010: Start of the IV. Henkel Innovation Challenge

A new semester, a new challenge – Henkel announces its successful international innovation competition for students for the fourth time.
