Developers and engineers honored
Developers and engineers from machine manufacturers and tissue producers received their awards from the hands of Francesca Lucca, Henkel’s business manager for Tissue and Towel Europe. “Each one of you has not only contributed to the success of your own company, but helped to broaden the range of knowledge available to us all,” said Francesca Lucca at the ceremony.
Adhesin FiberPlus makes fibers softer
Under its Adhesin, Technomelt and Superlok brands, Henkel produces adhesives and additives for fiber treatment for the tissue industry. In Europe, the heart of this industry beats in the Lucca region, the home of world-leading machine manufacturers and tissue producers. One of Henkel’s most recent innovations is Adhesin FiberPlus. Applied by spraying or by roller, this product makes cellulose fibers for tissue and toilet roll products softer and skin-friendlier.
The awards ceremony, which took place at the headquarters of the Giuseppe Lazzareschi Foundation, named after one of the pioneers in this industry, not only honored the innovation award winners but also highlighted the values that Henkel shares with the Lazzareschi family of entrepreneurs. “The significance of innovation, the importance of sustainability in industrial production, and the entrepreneurial role of a family business are deeply anchored in Henkel’s culture as well,” emphasized Patrick Kivits, Vice President Packaging & Construction Adhesives Europe including the Tissue Segment, during the ceremony.
