Klaus Piepel, an employee at Henkel in Düsseldorf, Germany, gives classes of students from Nordpark special school in Neuss the opportunity to enjoy a visit to his farm. While there, the disabled children enjoy hands-on contact with horses, cats and chickens, helping them to overcome their fears and natural reticence.

The grant from the MIT initiative also went toward acquiring a new climbing frame and animal care products for school groups.
