On March 20, 2023, Henkel celebrates the 175th birthday of its founder Fritz Henkel. His values, his pioneering spirit and his sense of responsibility continue to shape the company culture to this day.

As integrated circuits ‏(ICs) become more dense and complex, particularly in the power device sector, new approaches to die thermal control and electrical performance are required. Henkel today announced the availability of a die attach adhesive that provides high thermal capability to enable superior operation of power semiconductor packages. With 30 W/m-K thermal conductivity – among the market’s highest thermal performance without sintering – Loctite Ablestik 6395T is the latest in the company’s portfolio of high thermal solutions and allows integration of back-side metalized or bare silicon ‏(Si) die.

Henkel has launched a new Application Center in Vellore, India. The center will serve as a beacon of the company´s latest sustainable adhesive solutions for the sports industry, especially for footwear automation. With the opening Henkel aims to further drive innovation in the industry towards manufacturing excellence.

Henkel will publish its 2022 Annual & Sustainability Reports on March 7, 2023.

Under the motto “Rethink Nonwovens”, Henkel will present breakthrough solutions to enhance the sustainability and efficiency in Nonwovens manufacturing at INDEX 2023, held from April 18 to 21 at Palexpo, Geneva, Switzerland. At stand 2255, Henkel will showcase Technomelt DM ECO, a new sustainability-focused adhesives grade for the Nonwovens market. For high performance, high efficiency bonding applications, Henkel will present its state-of-the-art Easyflow® hot melt adhesive solution, which employs an auto-feed system for safe and efficient delivery to set new standards in process performance. At INDEX, visitors can also learn more about Smart Adult Care, an innovative solution from Henkel Qhesive Solutions that combines Nonwovens with printable electronics to revolutionize adult incontinence management.

As a global leader in material technologies Henkel has launched a novel sensor experience kit tailor-made for IOT engineering across industries. The novel Henkel Qhesive Solutions Sensor INKxperience Kit offers four different printed electronics technologies that are pre-configured with hardware and software for prototyping and engineering ideation. The kit has been designed for professional engineers and enables them to quickly and efficiently explore and experiment with the technology of printed electronics for the development of IOT sensor solutions.

As the world seeks solutions to environmental challenges, the furniture industry must meet changing consumer expectations and increasingly ambitious regulatory demands. The products of today and tomorrow must not only delight aesthetically but also provide consumers with sustainable and environmentally friendly choices. Consequently, the concept of sustainable furniture elements has become an increasingly urgent topic.

Help is urgently needed after the earthquake disaster in Türkiye and Syria. Therefore, Henkel has decided on an ad-hoc emergency aid package of 1 million euros. This includes urgently needed donations in-kind, product donations and financial aid, which will go to internationally active aid organizations.
