Trading Compliance Coordinator

Material management are organized as Shipping & Receiving, Warehouse and Traffic & Trading compliance. Material management is responsible for import & Export transportation, customs clearance, customs audit, warehousing of the physical goods and making related document such as customs invoice & etc.. Also, material management support production, Customer service, Sales, SCM & related dept. of the company. Material Management is a coordinating function responsible for planning and controlling materials flow.

Its objectives are as follows;

- Maximize the use of the company's resources.

- Provide the required level of customer service.

What we offer

  • Manage third party providers, such as customs clearance agents (brokers).
  • Audit import and export transactions to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and provide regular reporting of compliance metrics.
  • Conduct onsite compliance reviews of the businesses and assist them in setting up regular self-audit programs and in establishing compliance process improvements.
  • Support programs and projects to take advantage of Free Trade Agreements (including management of certificates of origin) and other duty-savings opportunities / programs.
  • Provide general guidance, assistance and advice to the businesses in support of their import and export operations and in solving import and export regulatory problems.

Who we are looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in economics or business preferred
  • Minimum of four (4) years of working experience in Customs/trade compliance-related operations or consultancy
  • Demonstrated understanding of Customs / trade compliance & logistics processes such as with free trade zone, bonded logistics park, processing trade and electronic industrial HS Code classification
  • Working experience in other Multi National Company
  • Good verbal and written English communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, self-driven and has a positive attitude towards learning and personal development
