The role is to co-ordinate payroll and benefits administration

What we offer

  • Payroll input capturing, administration and reporting; Benefits enrollments and changes;
  • Assist with data analysis and reporting salary anomalies within the pay scales
  • Prepare offer calculations for new employees or promotions etc.
  • Prepare and coordinate annual salary and bonus review pack (templates and analysis)
  • Conduct salary and benefits comparisons against internal and external market
  •  Complete compensation and benefits survey submissions (Mercer and ad hoc)
  • Extract reports from salary surveys
  • Prepare reward and benefits data for upload into salary and benefits surveys
  • Administer claims for the following benefits: Momentum provident fund, Xelus Gap cover, Discovery and Isizwe, wellness company and funeral schemes
  • Co-ordinate the onsite visits and events (monthly and otherwise) of benefit providers.
  • Co-ordinate quarterly reports from service providers.
  • Work with comp & benefits team on job evaluations, ratification and provide support to business activities on job evaluation related activities/projects.
  • Partner with the business and HR team to troubleshoot all compensation and benefit related issues
  • Coordinate and provide support in the preparation and implementation of wellness initiatives & benefit administration (adhoc).
  • Coordinate and manage Employee Share Programme, company time share bookings
  • Provide monthly pay and benefits report per cost centers.

Who we are looking for

  • National Diploma in HR Management 3-5 years of experience in  payroll and benefits administration Payroll Certificate (SAGE) in the FMCG or chemical industry
  • Experience in workforce analytics
  • Preferably own transport
  • Sound Payroll background or understanding
  • ND in human resources management or related sciences
  • Certificate in Rewards management
  • Ability to formulate detailed reports
  • Ability to analyze reports
  • Problem solving – Proactive approach
  • Deadline orientated
  • Effective Time Management and Communication skills
