  • Development of new and modification of existing products to meet customer requirements by following the procedures laid down relevant parts of the Quality Manual.

  • Provide technical support for the launch of new products/new lines/process, incl. line trials and line audits.

  • Attend to customer complaints / troubleshooting with high technical expertise.

  • Plan technical meetings with customers to ensure the efficiency of production.

  • Provide technical training to Sales Engineers.

  • Keep account management team updated on technical discussions with customer.

  • Provide inputs regarding application / processing equipment.

  • Source and purchase consumables and equipment.

  • Arranges new IDH applications for new local manufactured products and buyouts.

  • Capture Material Master Information, Formula, QC Specifications, COA requirements.

  • Arranges New IDH Applications for raw materials.

  • Capture Material Master Information, QC Specifications, link to vendor, create one page MSDS.

  • Maintain Health and safety standards and apply good laboratory practice to practical work in the laboratories.

  • Preparation of accurate and meaningful technical reports according to accepted scientific norms.

  • Source and purchase consumables and equipment.

  • Capture and change formulations & specifications for new and existing products and raw materials.

  • Support customer and internal Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental audits.

  • Execute all findings and relevant corrective action.

  • Attend, investigate and consult on Customer complaints and non-conformances.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Science or related field is required.
  • Good knowledge of adhesives and sealants for Automotive industry.
  • Formulation experience in adhesives and sealants with 5 years minimum field experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years working experience in automotive industry of sales or technical experience in automotive.
  • Knowledge in Technical troubleshooting and Technology assessment.
  • Cross-functional management and complex problem solving.
  • Must possess own vehicle and valid driver’s license.
  • Good knowledge in MS Office and SAP.
