YOUR ROLE 

  •  Understand and effectively manage all areas of HR (organization development and design, performance management, talent management, employee and industrial relations, compensation, talent acquisition, project work, communications) to provide front-line, day-to-day HR partnership to managers and team members of the Henkel Adhesive Technologies and Functions businesses in ANZ;
  • Manage employee relations issues; with an impartial perspective, to facilitate resolution of issues in relation to performance, demonstration of potential competencies and behaviors;

  • Closely partner with managers to proactively educate them on various HR policies and programs and how to effectively manage their team members with these tools, and provide interpretation of policies as required;

  • Work closely with the Recruitment Partner ANZ and the business to manage the recruitment process in an effective and efficient manner;

  • Effectively manage Industrial Relations issues including interpretation of Enterprise Agreements and Awards, negotiation of EAs, consultations with Unions, Delegates and team members; and

  • Assist with and manage various HR related projects as required including global, regional and local projects.


YOUR SKILLS 

     
  • Minimum of 5 years of client-facing HR Generalist experience, and strong employee and industrial relation experience
  • Demonstrated success in building effective business partnerships

  • Ability to effectively communicate with diverse populations and with all levels of an organization 

  • Demonstrated analytical skills paired with business acumen

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Manufacturing experience preferred, Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field.
