National Business Manager, Target Laundry

YOUR ROLE

  • Develop a strategic partnership with the customer that delivers on Henkel Laundry and Home Care’s (LHC) objectives in net sales, profitability, market share, and trade management; strengthen Henkel’s position as the customer’s preferred partner by providing category solutions with Henkel brands
  • Manage strategic partnership and develop a Joint Business Plan that addresses the assortment, pricing, promotion, and planogram elements in area of responsibility. 

  • Launch and leverage innovation (new items or brands) with effective project management. Ensure a solid understanding and execution of all brand commercialization.
  • Develop new business opportunities to maximize sales and influence.
  • Successfully integrate and partner with all internal teams to deliver business solutions; provide direction to cross functional resources, find insights to drive strategic plan, and execute the plan with excellence.
  • Deliver semi-monthly forecasting of revenue, net sales, and retail sales.

  • Collaborate with Supply Chain on inputs and metrics to ensure optimization of sales

  • Closely cooperate with local marketing and shopper marketing on how to leverage POS and market shares with the customer via loyalty and personalization. 

  • Work with internal e-commerce team to drive adoption of marketing and brand initiatives for the customer‘s e-commerce website. 

YOUR SKILLS

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent along with 5+ years of prior experience in consumer package goods. Direct customer sales experience with a preference for experience with Target. Category management, Business Analytics, Trade Marketing experience a plus but not required.
  • Ability to devise and deliver persuasive presentations, based on data-driven insights and facts, to gain support for business strategies and/or initiatives.
  • Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced, complex, matrix and fluid environment.
  • Strong analytical & financial acumen. Ability to identify and assess risk and prioritize competing demands.
  • Positive can-do attitude, collaborative, team-oriented approach, diligent work ethic.
