YOUR ROLE

  • Work closely with Henkel’s Corporate Health, Safety and Security team and regional mgmt to implement Corporate Policies, provide NA regional input for global requests, and support regional implementation of global initiatives.
  • Oversees the execution of global and strategic projects in the areas of Security, Health, SHE and Sustainability.
  • Conduct periodic, risk-based security and SHE assessments of Henkel sites and support or consult local site mgmt in the implementation of security measures, construction projects or acquisition integration. 
  • Manage and administer security and monitoring tools and databases for West USA.
  • Provide innovative thought and driving process improvements on security and operative efficiency based on business conditions and overall health, safety and security strategy.
  • Manage incidents and emergencies to a successful conclusion, coordinating as necessary with the Security Emergency Response Team, Threat Mgmt, BCM and other key stakeholders

YOUR SKILLS

  • Master’s degree in Security Management, Political Sciences, Criminology or related field with at least 5+ years professional experience within a Security function is required
  • Working knowledge of concepts, practices and procedures in areas such as dispute resolution, security risk management, threat management, investigations and applicable laws and regulations 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to be a team player, interact with many stakeholders and influence senior leaders
  • Strong project management skills; ability to prioritize and then manage multiple projects concurrently, managing to due dates and timelines and adaptability to a fast-paced and changing work environment
  • Experience supporting employees in multiple locations is preferred
  • Ability to travel 20% time
