Technical Customer Service (TCS) Representative (Field) EIMEA Surface Treatment Aerospace H/F

As a TCS Representative, you will interface regularly with the necessary operational levels of the Aerospace organization and with the relevant Materials & Process, Quality and Manufacturing groups of Aerospace customers in EIMEA.
In this role, you will support market launches of new products and strengthen the existing Henkel product portfolio for Surface Treatment technologies and help to identify and define product and sales development opportunities. This includes a continuous assessment of the market. You will coordinate qualification test programs, followed by the qualification processes at customers.
You are one of the technical focal points in the Henkel Aerospace EIMEA organization and communication with and assistance of all relevant stakeholder is part of your responsibility. As TCS Representative you can expect furthermore to be involved in trouble shooting activities as well as root cause analysis. You will witness and give guidance in terms of customer driven campaigns. Technical presentations and trainings complete the profile of a TCS representative.
Your main tasks are as follow:

  • Catching up new trends and providing regional market information to global counterpart, including competition survey

  • Providing expert support regionally in Functional Coatings chemical application and processing

  • Liaising between sales, marketing, product development and the customer to identify customer application solutions

  • Close collaboration with technical team in laboratories located at Düsseldorf (F2F)

  • Organizing training for regional/local TCS, sales teams and customers on products and technologies

  • Providing common tools for line audits and state-of-the-art customer visits

  • Implementing strategic long-term solutions for market-wide product complaints


  • University degree in engineering, inorganic / electrochemical chemistry or material science

  • Excellent knowledge of Aerospace relevant surface processes and technologies and their related products

  • Minimum of 5 years of work experience in technical customer service

  • Good conceptual thinker and excellent communicator with sense of ownership and initiative

  • Willingness to travel frequently (up to 40% of the time)

  • Fluent in French and English
