Field Service Representative

YOUR ROLE

  • Manage the site sales and service functions for several major automotive OEM’s and metal container accounts, and based at Ford Kentucky Truck Plant

  • Responsible for working with automotive pretreatment system and other Henkel solutions in the plant, primarily body, paint or trim shop.

  • Performing daily tests and quality audits to ensure processes are within specifications.

  • Recording results and providing reports to customer management and staff.

  • Communicating effectively with plant personnel at all levels.

  • Representing Henkel at plant meetings.

  • Participating in air and water leakage testing, and track issues and progress.

  • Develop effective account management, service & sales support strategies, and activities to cultivate new business opportunities to provide an outstanding customer service and support commitment.

  • Develop, manage, and apply organizational resources to provide excellent customer service

YOUR SKILLS

  • BS/BA in engineering or business, with some chemistry background preferred.

  • Experience — Manufacturing experience with significant experience in a sales/service function, preferably at a customer site location.

  • Must have a strong work ethic and excellent customer relationship skills.

  • Strong communication skills both internally and externally.

  • Must have strong problem resolution and technical leadership skills.

  • Strong PC capability

  • Ability to travel and meet with customers around Louisville area. 

  • Travel is domestic. 

  • Working Conditions: Manufacturing plant(s) and office locations.
