YOUR ROLE

Applications Engineer is a professional position that is responsible for providing technical support Henkel customers and internal sales teams in adhesive products used the Furniture and Building Components marketplace.

Product introduction, training,and application execution for accounts across the eastern seaboard region. 

The successful Applications Engineer will effectively interface regularly with all levels of Henkel and customer organizations.

Develop awareness and relationships with the OEM entities and personnel engaged within the marketplace.

Timely and effective communication as requested by Henkel sales personnel, customers, other Henkel personnel, and any involved outside third parties.

YOUR SKILLS

  • Bachelor of Science in a technical or business discipline

  • 5+ years of experience within Henkel or at least 10 years relevant experience in furniture, building components or a similar industry, and a progressive record of self-starting results.

  • Previous management experience highly desired

  • At its sole discretion management may consider equivalent experience in lieu of a degree or direct sales experience within Henkel

  • Up-to-date computer skills including business typing skills, strong literacy in Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office Excel, Word and Power Point,

  • Commensurate communication and relationship-building skills
