Quality Assurance Engineer - Adhesive Technologies (m/f)

  • Support product quality complaints, out of spec batches, lead investigation and follow up of implementation plan and corrective actions for the plant of Drogenbos. Lead product and Quality review accordingly
  • Support the site quality systems by developing and implementing of local procedures and relevant measurement of quality performance for the plant of Drogenbos (ISO 9001: 2015, ISO 14001: 2015, ISO 45001:2018 and GMP for Excipient manufacturer – Excipact)
  • Support process, test method and product validation (design the validation protocol, execute the data analysis and follow up with production department).
  • Manage raw material quality supplier complaints, lead investigation and follow up with the supplier for improvements
  • Participate in the site internal audits program and support during external customer audits
  • Provide leadership in the implementation of Quality and Hygiene programs (GMP / HACCP) for the plant of Drogenbos
  • Provide quality training on site


  • Master in Chemistry 
  • Previous experience (1-3 year or more) in a manufacturing environment link to Quality / ISO 9001 / Good manufacturing practice (GMP) is an asset  
  • Additional knowledge of or familiarity with SAP, Lotus Notes is an asset
  • Fluency in French and English (spoken and written) is mandatory, intermediate level in Dutch is an asset
  • Enthusiastic team player with excellent interpersonal skills that can work smoothly across departments 
  • Strong sense of organization and planning, able to work well in a team and with a problem solving mindset 
  • Curiosity, autonomy, flexibility and initiative
  • Root cause analysis skills (A3) & corrective actions reports (8D)
  • Experience in audit practice is a plus
