Quality Engineer

  • Maintain and support Internal Audit Program:
  • Adhere to approved audit plans 
  • Prepare audit agenda including objective, scope and criteria
  • Document findings and create audit reports 
  • Work with departments/auditees to address identified issues, provide recommendations and facilitate the corrective action process
  • Communicate action items and escalate issues to management 
  • Ensure audit findings are addressed in a timely manner 
  • Verify the effectiveness of corrective actions taken as a result of the audit. 
  • Prepare audit reports and maintain audit files 
  • Quality Metric Management:  - Assist with trend analyses related to audits (e.g. types/number of observations) 
  • Follow up with Process Owners to ensure actions are being completed per defined requirements 
  • Identify and communicate opportunities to improve the quality management system 
  • Research applicable regulations and standards to ensure the Company's ongoing compliance etc.


  • Bachelor's degree in engineering related field
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001 and IATF16949 requirements
  • 2 years of a regulated manufacturing or quality engineering related work experience is required.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, or PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work with internal customers to resolve quality issues.
  • Good interpersonal skills, including ability to work in a self-directed environment, and strong communication skills (written and oral). 
  • Strong Problem-Solving Skills, 8D and A3 problem Solving methodologies 
  • Ability to lead and work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Skills to communicate complex ideas effectively
  • Preferred, Certified auditor to a quality standard
