YOUR ROLE

The Principal Field Technical Customer Service (TCS) Engineer is a strategic role supporting all facets of Thermal Interface Materials (TIM) used in the manufacturing of consumer electronics. product development and customers field service needs. This position acts as the interface between field and lab in capturing and translating customers’ needs for new applications and products. Some specifics include:

  • Design and administration of internal screening evaluations on developmental and commercialized products, optimization of material assembly processes and direct interaction with customers to troubleshoot and solve product and process related problems.
  • Understanding and demonstration of testing of thermal products is required. 

YOUR SKILLS

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering or relevant scientific/technical discipline is required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an environment providing technical application support to customers required. 
  • Previous experience supporting customers using electronic packaging materials is preferred. 
  • Understanding of Thermal Interface Materials preferred but not required. 
  • Demonstrated ability in working with a cross functional Sales/Product
  • Development/Marketing team is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of liquid dispensing equipment and process preferred but not required.
  • In addition, the individual must be able to travel up to 30% globally/domestically.
