YOUR ROLE

  • The Marketing Product Manager position is located within the Portfolio management team within the Marketing Department and is a key contributor to the achievement of strategic initiatives.
  • Working as part of a holistic team including Product, Brand, Channel & Demand Creation, the role of the Marketing Product Manager is to deliver profitable growth through managing existing portfolio items and developing an innovation pipeline to answer the challenges of end-users.
  • This position requires strong analytical and interpersonal skills as well as a strategic perspective and action orientation.
  • Daily interaction with the Project and Brand managers as well as Global Team members is expected.
  • There will also be coordination and cross-functional team based projects with departments outside of Marketing (including but not limited to: Product Development, Technical Customer Care, Sourcing, Production, Planning, and Finance) to fully develop category portfolios is required. 

YOUR SKILLS

  • This position requires a deep understanding of our North American brand strategies for Loctite, LePage, and OSI and maintain a strong working knowledge of responsible product categories, channels and customers.
  • The portfolio must meet or exceed the various brand missions outlined in the B.E.D. and serve the strategic target groups identified.
  • Responsible for specific product categories and the health of that portfolio, including but not limited to P&L. Understanding application needs by target end-users and developing the category to support and improve their work.
  • New Product Introduction & Pricing
  • Tracking & Ownership of Category Complexity
  • Assessing Competitive Landscape
  • Leveraging data resources to estimate & communicate Category Market Share
  • Partnering with Project Management & Global colleagues to improve speed to market
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key departments.
