YOUR ROLE

  • Develop and execute assigned Quality Improvement plan projects and deliverables to plan o SQC implementation at the site o Lessons learned transfer within other Henkel locations 
  • Apply statistical knowledge, technical knowledge, and problem-solving expertise to achieve success and become the example to follow 
  • Be the local expert and go to person for new processes, systems, and solutions being implemented as part of the Global Quality Improvement Plan and the site quality improvement plan 
  • Aid in the development of the Site Quality culture 
  • Lead SQC Implementation at the site 
  • Ensure documentation and validation of key processes; control plans, quality planning documentation are in place 
  • Work with manufacturing and other functional groups to troubleshoot customer problems/complaints, plant issues, and reject batches 
  • Lead Cross-functional Quality Improvement Teams/Projects. 
  • Develop plans for continuous improvements for the plant, and product lines and ensure all team memb

YOUR SKILLS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Chemistry or within a relevant discipline 
  • 3+ years of experience in ME, PE or QE role 
  • Proven experience with utilizing Six Sigma, 8D, and A3 tools (minimum 6 sigma green belt) 
  • Working knowledge of standard quality tools and methods applicable to automotive industry (APQP, SPC, FMEA) 
  • Working knowledge of quality standards and requirements of automotive industry and OEMs (IATF 16949, CSRs) 
  • Proven success troubleshooting difficult problems within a manufacturing environment 
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, and to manage cross functional teams • SAP proficiency preferred 
  • Ability to travel occasionally 10-20%
