YOUR ROLE

  • Align between functions involved in NRM (especially Marketing, Sales, Finance) and coordinate programs and actions needed to implement recommendations.
  • Develop and simplify key department processes including promotional tracking and ROI evaluation. Steer the promotional evaluation process through pre and post evaluation and leverage knowledge to drive improvements
  • Define and share clear channel strategies for the organization and lead the identification of opportunities for pricing, product and promotional improvement based on these learnings
  • Consolidate, analyze and track key sales KPIs: sales, innovation performance, pricing and promotional intensity. Provide insight and recommend corrective action to foster profitability.
  • Lead the creation and implementation of promotional guidelines by category and channel based on post evaluation of previous activities and elasticity studies. Monitor/ report on adherence; identify outlier activity and work with sales/ senior leadership

YOUR SKILLS

  • BS/BA in relevant field, Marketing/Business Administration preferred.
  • 2+ years’ prior experience developing strategic, omni-channel customer and promotional strategies for CPG (client or agency side, health and beauty experience preferred).
  • Ability to think strategically and to translate internal brand strategy into retailer strategy.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills to influence and secure cross-functional support
  • Must have excellent analytical skills and business acumen to build strong business cases for change.
  • Must be technology savvy and have strong office productivity software skills (especially with PowerPoint and Excel)
  • Ability to think strategically and increase effectiveness at achieving overall strategies in a highly collaborative environment.
  • Demonstrated professional and academic success (e.g., graduated in top of class; top evaluations at prior job
