Production Group Lead

If you have an entrepreneurial mindset that allows you to always think out of the box - take the chance and shape the digital future together with us.    YOUR ROLE - Ensure the safe operation of production equipment using detailed instructions and daily inspections. - Evaluate material flow in production department and identify ways to increase accuracy and efficiency. - Streamline the returns process to increase inventory accuracy—including raw materials, intermediates, and f.g.  - Take the lead in resolving scrim, poly, or paper quality issues with suppliers. - Provide basic maintenance support. - Read, understand and execute the production schedule and provide feedback to the planning group as needed. - Coordinate activities with Engineering, R&D, Production, and Quality departments. - Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.  - Assist in all production areas as business need requires.  - Maintain positive and professional relationships with internal and external customers.  - Apply lean manufacturing practices to improve manufacturing operations, reduce scrap, improve efficiencies, and reduce cycle times. - Work individually or as part of a team
 YOUR SKILLS - HS Diploma or GED Lead on all machines and develop an operator-level of machine operation knowledge. - Lead machine crews in troubleshooting/resolution/correction of operating issues. - Must work efficiently and within established time frames and effectively function within a team environment. - Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations. - PC literate with experience in common software such as Outlook, Word, Internet Explorer, Excel, and SAP. - Ability to develop and maintain good internal and external customer relationships. - Demonstrated proficiency in safely and precisely operating production equipment per SOP's. - Willingness and ability to successfully complete both in-house and off-site training. - Ability to work with little supervision. - Positive attitude and desire to learn new skills.
