Lead Mechanic (Night Shift)

As a Lead Mechanic at our Bowling Green facility, you will a play a critical role in manufacturing the products our communities urgently need.

YOUR ROLE

As a Lead Mechanic, you will:

  • Prepare shift for daily needs.
  • Distinguish difference in equipment failure that needs to be addressed by operators to those that are addressed by mechanics and communicate the information to the appropriate personnel.
  • Know and perform production-recording procedures.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain various types of production operation equipment including but not limited to: motors, conveyors, electrical systems, CNC machinery, pneumatic tools and hydraulic equipment.
  • Provide ongoing partnering and coaching to the team members and line owner on how to effectively implement and utilize autonomous maintenance activities, preventative maintenance planning and execution and operational effectiveness improvements.
  • Maintain electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics and mechanical knowledge via on-going training, industry workshops and technical reading.

YOUR SKILLS 

  • Minimum of 3 years industrial maintenance or equivalent education.
  • Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Advanced technical or college training preferred.
  • Successful completion of Level 2 Mtc Assessment.
