Project Manager - New Product Development

YOUR ROLE

  • The Project Manager leads and manages key projects for the Adhesives Electronics business with a primary focus on execution; this includes managing stakeholder expectations on project scope, deliverables, timing, and resource management.
  • This role is critical to delivering new products to our strategic markets.
  • Provide leadership and management for product development projects, directing teams and managing stakeholder expectations.
  • Responsible for project execution including planning, resourcing, and delivery to schedule
  • Facilitate and manage the definition and delivery of vision and goals of the project
  • Promote and develop excellent project management throughout the organization
  • Balance best practice with reason and technical understanding for optimal execution
  • Provide regular status reports to the Technology and Business Leadership Teams
  • Manage multiple projects concurrently, driving risk mitigation and recovery plans 

YOUR SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, business or a related field.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
  • 7+ years broad professional experience
  • 4+ years of project management experience bringing new products to market
  • Past working experience in adhesives and/or electronics industry is preferred
  • Strong familiarity with stage-gate process, project management methodologies, tools and best practices
  • Positive attitude, driven, persistent, and results-oriented with the ability to influence without direct authority
  • Excellent conflict resolution, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to interact and communicate with all levels in a global organization
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project skills
  • Ability to travel 15% - 20% (Domestic and International)
  • Ability to speak Mandarin a plus
