·Lead initiatives in the following areas:

§Standardization of Processes

§Operational Systems

§Lean Enterprise elements (Six Sigma, VST, 5S, A3, TPM, etc.)

§Supply Chain Improvements

§Professional Development and Training

·Work with site leadership to identify and validate savings opportunities with the Cost Chase Database

·Lead the Check/Adjust meetings to help improve site results and develop employees to become better problem solvers using the A3 methodology

·Evaluate, where necessary, key manufacturing processes (benchmarks/industry leaders/best practices) and develop plans to identify opportunities for improvement

·Facilitate continuous improvement (CI) workshops/events (3-10 days) targeting specific improvement opportunities

·Lead cross functional projects tasked with improving manufacturing and supply chain processes

·Lead cultural changes at the site and support continued deployment of Lean Enterprise within Henkel

·Lead A3 CI projects on key issues/opportunities identified by the business

·Be a key resource for Lean Enterprise tools and skills

·Train site employees using lean tools and methodology

·Lead and manage the Continuous Improvement Race

·Lead and develop the 5S program


  • Bachelor of Science degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain
  • Five years experience in lean manufacturing environment
  • Six Sigma green belt preferred
  • Excellent leadership and team building skills
  • Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
  • Lean Manufacturing, Value Stream Mapping, 5S, A3 experience
  • Competent in project management, possessing the ability to lead continuous improvement workshops/events
  • Ability to continuously work in a manufacturing environment
  • Frequently sit, walk, view a computer screen, and type on a keyboard for extended periods of times
  • Ability to walk up and down several flights of stairs
  • Occasionally may be required to reach, squat, bend and lift up to 50 lbs
