  • The Laundry Team Lead is responsible for achievement of profitable sales volumes through effective coordination and implementation of the sales plan and direct supervision of the respective national and regional account sales team.
  • The Team Lead attends all key presentations and business reviews, and supervises and assists the direct sales force in preparation of account specific programs and marketing plans to maximize sales and profit potential. The incumbent insures effective administration of sales operations policies and procedures including deduction clearing, promotion payments compliance with approved funding and related planning time tables.
  • The incumbent also supervises the ongoing revisions of sales forecasts.
  • Ensuring promotional money generates a positive return on investment through effective leadership;
  • Leading sales force in the setting and achievement of challenging objectives;
  • Continuously evaluates the effectiveness of current distribution, shelving, merchandising and pricing standards;
  • Hiring, training and developing the sales team;
  • Ensuring effective communication between all departments and sales team;
  • Responsible for the level of achievement for his/her staff through hiring, training, development, career development and performance management.


  • Degree in Business with 6 or more years experience of increasing responsibility in consumer products direct and/or broker sales force, or the equivalent in the education and experience is required.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills - ability to lead and motivate others to achieve challenging goals.
  • Strong financial/business acumen.
  • Exceptional communication skills
