Senior Project Manager International Supply Chain Innovation (d/f/m)

  • Manage interdisciplinary interfaces in Innovation Management and act as representative in international project steering
  • Transfer innovation projects into the regions/clusters
  • Support in cross-cluster supply and technology allocation
  • Center of expertise in the preparation support of Business cases ( DCF and IRR evaluations) including calculation of COGs, definition of investments (together with technical functions) and financial evaluation of the project
  • Be the innovation team resource of packaging development and technology expert for new innovation on copacking and design to value promotion downstream
  • Cost calculation for new products (across development phase up to Go2 decision / project approval) and optimisation of production costs for new products (and/or existing products)
  • Support on Make-or-Buy decisions (Internal production or Toll Manufacturers), and using packaging expertise for developing harmonized solution for less format needs, lower investment cost and hence higher contribution
  • Technical and financial judgement on Supply scenarios, in cooperation with international functions as R&D /IMU/One GSC steering and regional/cluster teams
  • Support in preparation of Business Cases and link to Finance for “Innovation Investments” approval
  • Single point of contact to other functions (Marketing, R&D formula-packaging-process development, Finance, Procurement)


  • Master’s degree in Engineering, additional qualification in General Management or financial and investment studies would be a plus
  • Min. 5 years of relevant work experience in a project management and steering -related environment combined with engineering experience
  • Proven knowledge about Laundry & Home Care technology as well as operations with regards to Laundry design, technology and supply processes
  • Strong project management knowledge / experience
  • Experience in steering inter-functional teams (also based in different geographical places), good adaptability to multicultural backgrounds and intercultural sensitivity
  • Good understanding of the main financial drivers of the innovation project including design and technology impact as well as cost drivers of manufacturing operations
  • Solid knowledge of financial principles and build up of business cases / arguments for economical evaluations of projects
  • Fluent in spoken and written English; German appreciated, additional languages are a plus
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
