Quality Assurance Technician - 1st Shift

YOUR ROLE

  • Check documented processes against actual practices on both an informal basis during routine activities and on a formal basis as part of the internal audit program.
  • Responsible for having all reference documents and standards available for the manufacturing inspectors.
  • Perform audits of the various ISO 9001 and IATF/TS16949 elements.
  • Handle special projects and research as directed.
  • Perform a variety of lab analysis of products and materials.
  • Write reports as needed. 

YOUR SKILLS

  • Prefer associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Prefer prior experience working with quality management systems in a manufacturing environment.
  • Desire: ASQ Certified Quality Technician or Quality Engineer.
  • Knowledge of six sigma, FMEA, process capability, and pareto chart.
