YOUR ROLE

  • 2-5 years of relevant trade and customs management experience within a global manufacturer, including understanding of customs classification, the Harmonized Tariff System and customs valuation, LCB a plus
  • Excellent understanding of US and Canadian customs and trade regulations; experience with FTA management as well as US export controls is a plus; SAP GTS knowledge and an interest in digital developments in the field of trade and customs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and team building skills; strong analytical skills and a strategic mindset, experience with project management
  • Highly organized. Good time management, results oriented, can-do attitude

YOUR SKILLS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or International Trade or equivalent experience
  • Be part of a team of highly motivated specialists in different regions that work together to further develop and communicate the Trade management program for Henkel
  • Manage projects to streamline import & export operations, including customs management and IT solutions
  • Manage the relationships and compliance requirements for third parties such as customs brokers and freight forwarders
  • Manage the Free Trade Agreement process for Henkel
  • Establish & maintain relationships with, internal and external legal counsel, internal stakeholders and external agencies as appropriate
