Key Account Manager Field Sales Lead

·Responsible for supporting the Sales Director across multiple functions to help achieve financial and strategic initiative goals set for the Retail Home Center  business.

·Implement strategy for key initiatives across The Home Depot & Lowe's retail accounts. 

·Additional core responsibilities include management of Field Sales Team and external Sales Representatives. 

·Work directly with merchandising execution teams on in store activities.  

·Design strategy, develop and implement all field activities. 

·Manage key initiative projects internally with direct execution in the field.

·Closely align with The Home Depot & Lowe's account management teams, understanding needs, strategies & priorities of each of the businesses.

·Serve as key connection point between actions in the field and Henkel leadership, share insights & information effectively with leadership in order to drive decision making from the bottom up.

·Lead the Regional Sales Team across multiple functions including meeting preparation, data generation and analysis, project planning and strong communication of account level initiatives to ensure seamless implementation at the field level.

·Collaborate with Henkel trade marketing team, to develop promotional programs and vehicles in order to capture additional off-shelf & product attachment placement.

·Actively participate in the preparation and execution of key Home Depot & Lowe's meetings throughout the year including, but not limited to, monthly merchandising meetings, PLRs, top-to-top meetings, demo days, etc.

·Lead and align all efforts of 3rd party in-store merchandising team.

·Develop strategy & set priorities, measuring success, impact & return on investment.

·Ability to travel for corporate meetings, market visits, MAE events, RVP walks, Management Meetings or other that may be necessary to the business or for professional development.  


·Education - BS/BA in business. 

·Travel - Ability to travel up to 50%

·Experience —5-10 years, Sales or Marketing experience, CPG industry a must, Home Center and Home Depot account experience a plus.

·Special skills - Data Analysis, Organization & Time Management, Communication, Decision Making - Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook a must.
