Responsibility for business development of the Consumer Goods of Adhesives business unit; responsibility with a focus on development and execution new business development plans to drive profitable, sustainable growth.  This includes leading core strategic initiative projects related to protecting existing business, new opportunities, and profitable growth. 


  • Own the go to market strategy development for our Focus to Grow core initiatives, including but not limited to:
  • Own the development and execution of business development plans for prioritized focus to grow market segments.
  • Support the sales and key account management teams in development of their Must Grow and Must Secure strategic account plans
  • Lead the project to identify, prioritize, develop, and accelerate the growth of our premium partners.
  • Develop and manage the go-to-market strategy for commercial launch of new innovation, collaborating closely with marketing and sales.  This includes driving successful commercial launch of our next generation product
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales to monitor and analyze key market trends, owning the definition and execution of corresponding strategic plans and specific projects that position Henkel as leading trend solution provider and drive profitable, sustainable growth.  Key projects will include, but not be limited to, key market trends such as food safety, sustainability; CE; digitization, and premiumization.   
  • Assess and communicate market needs and opportunities to populate regional and global product development innovation funnels.
  • Collect and analyze competitive intelligence to prepare appropriate offensive and defensive countermeasures.
  • Establish effective working relationships with key support internal functions, including but not limited to sales and key account management teams, Marketing (Regional and Global), Technical Customer Service, Product Development, and Supply Chain.
  • Effectively communicate progress and needs to the management team.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, marketing or any related filed
  • At least 5 years working experience in sales and marketing in industrial sales B2B to consumer/FMCG industry
  • Willing to travel across SEA countries, Japan and Korea
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
  • Self-motivated, independent, and eager to take on additional assignments
