Production Coordinator I -2nd Shift

  • Works under the supervision of the Packaging Manager and/or Shift Supervisor.
  • Responsible for assisting Line Supervisor in direction of team and production and production line activities to ensure proper staffing, training, efficiency, quality, and output.
  • Assists Line Supervisor by coordinating team assignments, including manpower and materials, to maximize efficient production and quality per manufacturing order.
  • Maintains written records of line production, efficiency, and quality.
  • Keypunches data into computer and verifies accuracy of records.
  • Orients and trains new line technicians and assists in evaluation of line technicians’ evaluations.
  • Helps to ensure the safety of individuals working in the department.
  • Checks line for quality, collects and delivers samples as requested, and allocates as appropriate.
  • Performs minor line adjustments and performs repairs as needed for normal operation.
  • Effectively communicates conditions as they occur.

  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent strongly preferred
  • 6 plus months of relatable manufacturing experience required
  • Good communication skills and good math skills required
