An exciting opportunity has arisen for you to join a vibrant team of HR professionals who are passionate about being proactive partners to the business. As HR Business Partner you will be responsible for contributing to the business strategy and translating it into organisational and people capabilities.


  • Provide managers and employees with expert, professional Human Resources advice in line with local and European legislation
  • Ensure local and global HR policies and procedures are implemented and adhered to
  • Contribute to the development of the Dublin Operations strategic plan by developing a strategic HR plan that complements both site and corporate HR initiatives
  • Work with senior management team to develop and implement the optimum organisation structure for the Operations in Dublin
  • Manage & build constructive relations with the three unions SIPTU, UNITE and Connect. Continue to foster union / management relationships by building on existing communications and working with managers to resolve industrial relations issues at an early stage
  • Support union negotiations when required
  • Provide advice to managers on any HR matters (discipline, dismissal, grievance, redundancy etc.) and assist them in resolving problems that require HR input
  • Evolve and implement absence management processes and advise and assist managers when dealing with absence issues. Provide appropriate KPI’s and reporting trends to support same 


  • Degree in Business or relevant HR related field
  • Five years in HR Management
  • Experience of working within a busy manufacturing environment
  • Experience of working in a heavily unionised environment
  • Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development (CIPD) Graduate or Member level (Masters level)
  • Willingness to travel to sites within Dublin
  • Able to work at both a strategic and operational level
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organisation
  • Thorough knowledge of Irish employment legislation
  • Able to treat information with strictest confidence
