Technical customer service (TCS) department plays key role within the General Manufacturing & Maintenance industry for Adhesives Business. Main function of the department is to support sales teams and customers on their technical requirements such as product recommendation, troubleshooting, validate products on customer application by conducting trials at customer site and/or at Henkel lab. TCS department also support Product development teams to create sustainable innovations of adhesives to satisfy customer`s need.

YOUR ROLE

  • Providing technical advises on products and applications to direct customers, distributors and internal sales & TCS team to grow business & support sales projects
  • Conducting product trials, demonstrations, technical visits at customer site & at Henkel lab
  • Train new Sales, TCS Engineer and distributors & customers on product and application knowledge
  • Resolving customer complaints & providing technical solutions, if any
  • Coordinating with product development teams for developing sustainable innovation
  • Respond promptly to customer calls and queries
  • Engage and involve in all Sales and Marketing initiatives and programs. Support new product launch and business development activities
  • Represent Henkel at conferences, trade shows and meetings regarding avenues of research and new advances
  • Be a value driver for customer & cascade TCS best practices in day to day job

YOUR SKILLS

  • Engineering graduate – Preferred Mechanical
  • Minimum 6 -8 years of experience into Technical customer service for Maintenance & over-haling background.
  • Excellent industry knowledge for specially Oil & Gas (Cement Mining, Power & Steel Industry knowledge is advantage)
  • Knowledge & hands-on experience of adhesives, sealant & coating technology
  • Fluency in English is a must, Arabic is an added advantage
  • Prepared to travel at customer sites (regular short-term business trips throughout Middle East countries and other facilities)
  • Proficient in MS office (Excel/PowerPoint/Word)
