Senior Manager Global Sustainability (d/f/m)

YOUR ROLE

  • Shape Henkel’s approach to sustainability
  • Minimize risks and capitalize on opportunities to leverage our sustainability performance with key stakeholders
  • Monitor and assess relevant sustainability challenges along the value chain
  • Understand stakeholder expectations and leverage this knowledge to develop concepts and positions
  • Shape Henkel’s approach to assessing sustainability related risks and opportunities as well as the measurement of their financial and non-financial impacts
  • Drive the evolution of Henkel’s energy & climate related strategy
  • Manage climate related reporting, disclosures and our internal capacity building on sustainability
  • Strengthen Henkel's sustainability community and work with partners in Henkel's businesses and functions to facilitate alignment on strategic topics
  • Support implementation of relevant initiatives and generate content for communication, ratings and stakeholder dialogue

YOUR SKILLS

  • Excellent degree in Science or Business Administration, ideally with a sustainability focus and an affinity for interdisciplinary work
  • At least 10 years of professional experience, including the development and implementation of related concepts, preferred industry background in (fast moving) consumer goods or financial services
  • Thorough understanding of the international discussion on sustainability and its different dimensions including reporting, stakeholder dialogue, impact assessment, energy & climate and the UN Sustainable
  • Development Goals Understanding of the relevance of sustainability for the different business processes and functions of a globally operating company
  • Strong analytical and communication skills,
  • Experience in developing training material is a plus
  • Excellent collaboration skills and strong team player
  • Excellent English, additional languages are a plus
