YOUR ROLE

  • Define and guide the brand strategy consistent with the international/APAC regional brand positioning and the country's priorities to contribute growth of the brand in South Korea.
  • Develop the strategic directions and execute annual marketing plans for the portfolio development ensuring that they support all customer and channel requirements
  • Take ownership of local NPD plans and create the right angle of attack to build integrated, engaging consumer brand experiences.
  • Lead and supervise the entire local development process and the respect of deadlines in compliance with global/regional NPD plans and procedures
  • Work closely with key stakeholders, especially Sales teams to influence, agree, develop and execute key launches and sales promotional activity
  • Oversee the briefing and management of all media, PR and creative/digital agencies to develop added value communication campaigns
  • Drive and champion the Digital Agenda within the team, sharing best-practice, adhering to international guidelines and ensuring that the brands are at the forefront of digital opportunities and South Korea is seen as a leading market.
  • Manage the brand marketing budget to maximize its return
  • Analyze brand financials, market data and competitor data thoroughly to build brand strategy, activity plans and initiatives based on the analysis

YOUR SKILLS

  •  Degree educated, or equivalent, ideally within Business Management or Marketing
  • Demonstrate success in and Management role within FMCG at least 4 years
  • Experience with P&L responsibility, budget planning and management, strong understanding profitability levers - Digital expertise, encompassing experience of e-Commerce platforms and social media
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and presenting skills
  • A strategic thinker, commercially astute, with good analytical and reporting skills
  • High propensity for collaboration and cross functional ways of working
