    Functional Responsibilities (70%):

    • Reviews, defines, implements and governs planning processes from an end to end supply chain view to support operational performance
    • Drives the development of planning capabilities to support Henkel's supply chain strategy with focus on S&OP, IBP and mid to long term planning
    • Facilitates knowledge transfer between countries/regions and actively stimulates the SCP community for continuous improvement and process re-engineering to meet market expectations
    • Supervise system migration (e.g. Horizon) or system implementation projects (e.g. acquisitions), being responsible for the implementation of the Henkel template
    • Ensure the documentation of the defined standards (processes and systems)
    • Enforce the governance of standards within implementing/ migration/ enhancement projects
    • Manage life-cycle of template
    • Organize and coordinate the collection of requirements from the SCP user community (countries and regions), determine the enhancement budget, decide on relevance and priority of the enhancement request and approve or deny the request.
    • Sign-off of the planning of releases to productive systems, supervise testing of the changes of approved enhancements and follow up on the budget
    • Manage System Authorizations:
    • Sign off, implement and monitor the authorization concept for the SCP process in close coordination with IT
    • Responsible for project budgets (shared X-BU Enhancement budget and Beauty Care specific global project budgets)
    • Maintain active contacts with GBPPO´s from other process categories (Inter-company, Purchase to Pay, OTC, Manufacture Products, Product Life Cycle Management, Controlling and General Accounting) , CRM experts, BI experts and Connectivity (EDI) owners
    • Drive collaboration between different business units in order to offer a consistent approach and service to Henkel in order to reduce costs and to increase revenue, by guaranteeing a solid and trustworthy basis for the entire value chain
    • Harmonize Supply Chain Processes that reduce complexity and improve process control
    • Assist in problem solving within the GBPO and Planning Process Expert Team of SC Planning
    • Detect, define and prepare topics on how to continuously improve the performance of the SC process
    • Lead and execute jointly defined and agreed supply chain planning process improvement initiatives (Reports, KPIs) together with the team
    • Evolve and maintain documentation and standard operating procedures for methodologies and processes used by the process experts

    Leadership Responsibilities (30%):

    • Lead a team of Global Business Process Owners, Integration Managers and European Planning Process Experts across the SC process pillars of Demand, Supply, Material Planning and the overarching S&OP Process
    • Develop functional and managerial skills of employees and create a positive working atmosphere
    • Supports and drives the development and implementation of global planning strategy and strategic processes such as S&OP, IBP and long term strategic planning
    • Assign execution of tasks and processes in the department, delegating in line with employee abilities
    • Supervise staff to ensure that they carry out their responsibilities to the required standards and receive all required training
    • Report to the supervisor periodically on team and individual work accomplishments, problems, progress in mastering tasks and work processes, and individual and team training needs.
    • Lead and/or supervise projects on regional and global level through all project phases in line with defined scope and project responsibility (e.g. overall, work-stream).


  • 10 years professional experience in Supply Chain Management
  • Min 5 years experience in FMCG industry
  • Consulting experience a plus
  • 3 to 5 years leadership experience managing a team
  • Deep understanding of Supply Chain Planning tools from process and system viewpoint (Demand and Supply Planning)
  • Further knowledge about digital tools and capabilities (e.g. Power BI) Capability to summarize complex topics in a variety of forums
  • Strong understanding and operational experience in Sales & Operations Planning processes
  • Proven track record in project management delivering end to end projects in Supply Chain
  • University degree in Supply Chain Management or Business Strong business and commercial acumen
  • Fluent in English; German & Spanish language skills are a plus
