Maintenance Manager

  • Analyze situations accurately and adopt an effective course of action to ensure that all tasks are completed in timely and safe manner with the highest degree of quality and professionalism.
  • Manage and coordinate the maintenance staff to ensure the utmost use of labor utilization by scheduling work and personnel tasks to be performed.
  • Administrator of the preventive maintenance program. Researching, writing, and maintaining all preventive maintenance instructions for equipment and machinery plantwide.
  • Research and write all maintenance lock out tag out instructions for all machinery and equipment.
  • Write all calibration procedures for new and existing meters and equipment that the quality manager requires calibrated.
  • Write work instructions for operations to reduce/prevent equipment downtime.
  • Research and order all parts needed for the maintenance department and jobs to be completed.


  • Be on call after hours and on weekends to respond to any emergency situations.
  • Perform monthly reporting, investigate concerns, communicate KPIs to corporate maintenance and plant management
  • Develop capital project submission for approval that include – basic engineering design (BED), risk analysis, expense quotes, and project timeline.
  • Manage approved capital projects, including contractor work and safety protocol, timing, costs, maintenance personnel support and project closure including depreciation schedule.
  • Develop Maintenance strategy that includes 3 – 5 year timeframe, functionality, cost, safety, environmental impact, durability and quality.
  • Develop and manage costs associated with smallest component where maintenance occurred, differentiate between internal and external costs, unplanned repairs, planned repairs, maintenance and inspection, improvements, and spare parts.
