3D Printing Application Engineer

  • Works to develop and support Key Initiatives in Henkel’s 3D Printing/Additive Manufacturing business, focused on driving the Loctite brand of photopolymer resins.
  • Provides technical support to the business development and marketing teams.
  • Work directly with Henkel customers to identify, qualify, close, and maintain Henkel Product applications.
  • Design and implement programs to develop the technical data needed to support the use of Henkel products, technology, and expertise.
  • Work with Henkel Information Technology teams to develop digital platforms for Henkel customers and internal use.
  • Provides technical training to Henkel staff and customers.
  • Identify new opportunities for innovation and work with development project teams to bring these opportunities to market.
  • Travel with business development representatives to develop first-hand understanding of customer needs and application details.


  • B.S. Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry or other Technical degree.
  • 3 to 5 years of demonstrated related experience in manufacturing, additive manufacturing/ 3D printing.
  • Experience in 3D Modeling and designing for additive manufacturing.
  • Customer support experience (providing product training).
  • Demonstrated project management skills.
  • Strong customer relations and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven leadership, sense of urgency, self-starter – Entrepreneurial spirit to drive new technologies and solutions for Henkel.
  • Potential for up to 30% overnight global travel per year.
