YOUR ROLE

  • This role manages and coordinates production, distribution, and warehousing activities in accordance with policies, principles, and procedures. Operates and controls equipment units or system that processes chemical substances into specified products, according to knowledge of operating procedures, chemical reactions, laboratory test results, and correlation of process instrumentation.
  • Being point of accountability for the timely execution of the area’s long term and day to day business results that are focused on Manufacturing’s key performance measures (reliability, safety, quality, and productivity).
  • Participation in establishing strategic direction for the Business Unit, ensuring that the teams share in goal setting.
  • Accountable for development and documentation of systems in the area and renewal processes for continuous improvement.
  • Work with and understand plant initiatives utilizing cross-functional teams to improve the impact of decisions on business results.

YOUR SKILLS

  • 4-year degree in Engineering, Operations Management or equivalent degree
  • 3 to 5 years Process Engineering/Team Manager experience or the equivalent work experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills. • Strong communication and listening skills.
  • Ability to influence decision-making.
